AGENDA: STATE OF DIVERSITY IN THE ARTS - We will celebrate the leadership legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and explore the current state of diversity within Westchester's arts and culture community. Discussions will include:
~Defining the Diversity in Art & Culture
~How to manage a budget
~Government funding & public support for events
~Relevance of your event to your target community
~The importance of the Westchester Arts Alliance
~open mic-discussion
Important :There will be an additional public symposium on the STATE OF DIVERSITY IN THE ARTS on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at the Shelton E. Doles Community Center, 250 South 6th Avenue (bet 3rd and 4th Streets), Mount Vernon, NY. 9:00Am to 3:00pm. Suggested Donation is $10.00.
